Is it reduced if I work?
After the first three years, if you work or receive your own pension, the survivor's pension is reduced by 50% (i.e. about 35% is paid). For the first 3 years it is paid in full regardless.
How much does each child receive?
Each unmarried child is generally entitled to 25% of the deceased's pension, until the age of 24 (or beyond, in the case of incapacity that appeared before 24).
Is there a maximum?
Yes — the family's total cannot exceed the deceased's pension (100%). If the sum of the shares goes over, it is reduced proportionally. The calculator applies this cap.
